Cheap Flights From New York (JFK) to Shannon (SNN)
If you want to fly from New York to Shannon, there are plenty of options to consider. For the best prices, we recommend booking your tickets in advance, particularly if you’re heading on a peak season flight. However, last-minute deals are also sometimes available, especially if you are willing to travel on less popular dates.
New York John F Kennedy Intl Airport (JFK)
JFK is one of the largest airports in the world, and it can get crowded at certain times of the day. However, it’s a very convenient location if you’re planning to visit New York. The AirTrain connects the airport with downtown Manhattan, making it easy to get around. You should also make sure you factor in enough time for security when planning your trip.
Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
Technically in New Jersey, EWR is a great alternative to JFK for people traveling on budget. While it’s not as large, it does have fewer queues and is more affordable. Plus, it’s easier to reach than JFK, thanks to the AirTrain.
Kuwait Airways has flown between New York and Kuwait for years, though the route hasn’t operated nonstop in recent years. This is due to the fact that the airline can’t get clearance to operate direct flights from Kuwait to the US. However, the airline has been able to fly via London Heathrow as it has fifth freedom rights there.
Aer Lingus
Aer Lingus currently flies to Dublin, Shannon and Donegal from dozens of North American cities. Its pre-pandemic routes have largely made a comeback save for Minneapolis-St Paul (MSP) to Dublin, which has yet to return. However, many of its remaining routes have some great deals at the moment.
New York City-bound fares are available right now for under $500 round-trip on some of its remaining connections. You’ll have to book a flight that has a layover, but it’s still a fantastic price for such a long-haul flight.
Flights from the West Coast to Shannon are also very reasonable at the moment. For example, you can fly from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Dublin next January for only $436 round-trip on TAP.
