Capo Bianco

The city of Castellamare del Golfo is home to a lovely castle. It was built by the Arabs and later controlled by the Swabians. Today, the castle houses the town museum and archaeological section.

Castellammare del Golfo is also home to the Museum of the Mediterranean, which has an interesting archaeology and farming section. A tourist office is available on the castle grounds.

Castellammare del Golfo has many beautiful coves and beaches. Cala Marina, Cala Mazza di Sciacca, and Cala Petrolo are some of the most attractive beaches in the area. These beaches are easy to get to and offer parking. They are shallow, calm waters, and have lifeguards on duty.
