These picturesque towns are home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the country, and they’re just an hour and a half from New York City. You can spend a whole day taking a dip in one of the many beaches or enjoying the beautiful weather by hiking through the town’s countryside.
Amagansett
Located between East Hampton and Montauk, Amagansett is a charming hamlet secluded from the crowds. The small village is filled with historic homes and stretches of dunes. The town is a great place for year-round residents to call home, but it is also a favorite among vacationers.
It is hard to deny that Amagansett is a lovely town with a nice little main street, a handful of notable landmarks, and a few noteworthy beaches. Greenport
Located on the North Fork of Long Island, Greenport is a charming town with a laid back vibe. It is a two and a half hour drive from NYC, making it an easy weekend getaway.

Sayville Bathing Beach

There’s no question that Sayville’s bathing beach is a must see during the summer months. However, there’s no shortage of better places to frolic during the colder months. Whether you’re looking for a weekend away from the city or a quick getaway from the city, there’s something for everyone.
Sag Harbor
Located on the northern side of the South Fork of Suffolk County, Sag Harbor is a small town with a rich history. It is a wonderful destination with a lot to offer. The area has a wide variety of restaurants, boutique shops, and outdoor recreational activities.
Sag Harbor is known for its laid-back atmosphere and beautiful beaches. It is also home to many historic homes, museums, and parks. There are several active organizations that preserve the history of this area.
