The Best Places to Travel in the U.S. in June

Whether you’re planning a vacation or just a simple day trip, there are a few great places to travel in the U.S. during the month of June. Here are a few options that aren’t just breathtaking views, but also offer a taste of history and culture.

Mount Rainier National Park

Cumberland Island also has the remains of the stately Dungeness Mansion. The mansion is the largest mansion on the island. The ruins were slowly eroded by nature. The mansion was constructed as a wedding gift for George Lauder Carnegie and Margaret Thaw.

East Hampton Main Beach

Whether you are looking for a beach where you can go surfing, or just relax, the Hamptons are the place to go. The Hamptons is a short two-and-a-half hour drive from Manhattan. There are plenty of activities to enjoy in the Hamptons, from sailing and kayaking, to visiting one of the many state parks.

Big Sur also features some great hotels. The Post Ranch Inn is a beautiful place to stay. The hotel is located three miles south of Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. The inn offers fine dining and spa services. The resort has an on-site grocery store and grill.
